CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Channel 9 meteorologist John Ahrens sang the National Anthem Tuesday night at the Myers Park High School varsity baseball game as part of the Channel 9 Food Drive.
Students at the school began collecting non-perishable canned food last week.
The food drive kicks off on June 1 at a Myers Park pep rally.
