MINT HILL, N.C.,None — A 41-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Thursday evening crash involving two vehicles in Mint Hill.
Mint Hill police said a driver attempted to make a left turn onto NC 51 from Evans Road, pulling into the path of motorcyclist Richard Cullinan Jr. Cullinan was ejected in the crash and then hit by another vehicle that was traveling in the other direction, according to police.
Cullinan was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges have been filed in the crash, which is still under investigation by the Mint Hill Police Department and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's HITS unit.
