CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — Charlotte-Mecklenburg homicide unit detectives have issued a warrant for Tracy Serveria Gilliam in the shooting death of Lasheira Hall in West Charlotte.
Police said they received a call Sunday morning from a home on Avalon Avenue near Glenwood. When they arrived, police said they found Lasheira Hall suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Hall was taken to Carolinas Medical Center where she later died.
Witnesses told police she was awaken by gunshots and saw Gilliam fleeing the residence. The witnesses also told police, that the suspect and the victim had gotten into an argument earlier in the night.
The K-9 unit assisted in the search for Gilliam in an attempt to locate the suspect but they were unsuccessful.
