STATESVILLE, N.C.,None — Police in Statesville are looking for a woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death.
The Statesville Record and Landmark reports officers have a murder warrant for Shirley Linney.
Alvaro Chela, 43, was found dead in a duplex off Wilson Lee Boulevard on Tuesday, police said.

His family reported him missing on Monday night after not seeing him since Saturday.
Detectives said they traced a signal from Chela's phone to the duplex where his body was found. Investigators said it appears Chela was stabbed.
Police said this is the first murder in Statesville in two years.
