CAMPBELL, Ohio — Police in Ohio have identified the body of a woman found in a trash bag on the side of a road early Tuesday.
Linda Bennett, 40, of Youngstown, was found by a motorist driving through Campbell at about 1:15 a.m. EDT, The Vindicator of Youngstown reported.
According to the Campbell Police Department, Bennett was found with a trash bag around the lower part of her body, WKBN-TV reported. A torn trash bag was found near the upper portion of the woman’s body, according to the television station.

According to a police report, Bennett appeared to have bruising on her face, arms and stomach, WFMJ-TV reported.
The 58-year-old motorist could not immediately see the woman’s body when he stopped because she was near a wooded area and there was poor lighting, The Vindicator reported.
Authorities are awaiting autopsy and toxicology results to announce the cause of death, WKBN reported.
The Mahoning County coroner and Campbell police are investigating the case, according to the television station.
