Firefighter proposes to girlfriend during Los Angeles Marathon

LOS ANGELES — It was a beautiful moment, and the cameras were rolling.
For years, firefighter Rudy Marin has participated in the Los Angeles Marathon, but Sunday’s race served as more than an opportunity for him to raise money for the California Fire Foundation. It set the stage for the asking of an incredibly important question.
Firefighter proposes to girlfriend during L.A. Marathon
Marin, who always runs the marathon carrying an American flag while clad in full firefighting gear, made an unexpected stop along the race’s new course for 2021, KTLA reported.
