CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Some Wells Fargo customers in the Carolinas will now have new checking account fees.
The bank started charging certain customers a $5 service fee every month.
People who receive paper statements will have to pay $7 dollars.
Customer can avoid the charges by maintaining a minimum balance of $1,500 or have direct deposits into their account of at least $500 each month.
