Sponsored: Join Super Cam Club to help fund youth education

For the fourth consecutive season, the Cam Newton Foundation has launched its online fundraiser – the Super Cam Club – to impact youth and education across Charlotte and the Carolinas.

The fundraiser encourages fans to help “Raise the Score” in the community with an easy way to support the Foundation’s education programs and cheer on Newton and the Carolina Panthers this season.

Fans join the Super Cam Club by pledging a specified donation amount for each of Newton’s passing and rushing touchdowns in the 2016 Panthers regular and postseason games.

Fans can select a pledge amount per touchdown (for both home and away games) ranging between $5 and $50 or more. After every Panthers game, Newton’s passing and rushing touchdown numbers will be combined for a total number of touchdowns. At the end of the season, participants receive various gifts, depending on their donation amount. Items range from autographed pictures to personalized footballs and jerseys.

Fans are encouraged to sign up prior to Sept. 8, which is the date of the Panthers regular season home opener. In order to participate or for more details, fans should visit cam1newton.com/super-cam-club or click here.

“I am excited about this year’s Super Cam Club, especially the partnership with my fans,” says Newton. “I think it’s a great way for people of any age and any place to get involved by watching the games and hopefully giving back to the community.”

The Cam Newton Foundation’s “Every 1 Learns” initiatives expand educational opportunities for children who are deserving, at-risk or disadvantaged. Since 2012, the Foundation has donated over $310,000 directly to Charlotte-Mecklenburg School, in addition to working with many other education-focused non-profits.
