- Our stretch of dangerous heat continues Thursday with temperatures getting close to the record high of 98!
- It will feel more like 100-105 this afternoon with the humidity.
- A Heat Advisory is in place for Union, Anson, and Richmond counties, which will have the best chance of seeing that heat index of 105 or slightly greater.
- A stray shower chance continues mostly for the mountains Thursday and Friday before a slightly better chance for a few storms moves in over the weekend.
- We’ll watch for an isolated severe threat on Saturday with damaging winds the top threat.
- Behind that system, temperatures will briefly dip back into the 80s Sunday through Tuesday of next week.
