FORECAST:
- Still quite gray this morning, but we will get back into some sunshine later this afternoon.
- Highs should then warm back up to the lower 70s.
- As far as rain goes, a few spotty showers dot the map this morning (mainly in the mountains) and a few can’t be ruled out through the day. Nothing widespread is expected.
- The best chance for rain and even some thunderstorms comes tonight across the mountains and I-40 corridor. Some of these could produce some gusty winds and heavy rain.
- Our pattern remains mild and a bit unsettled through the weekend with highs in the 60s and 70s and a token chance for a scattered shower. No washouts, nor any big rain either.
- Bigger rain threats and much colder temperatures are likely coming our way next week.
