Dolly, Tina, MJ highlight Blumenthal’s 2022-2023 Broadway season

CHARLOTTE — Broadway is back in a big way at Charlotte’s Blumenthal Performing Arts. The organization recently announced its biggest theatrical season to date.

“The lineup coming to Charlotte next season offers something for everyone, but what all of these shows have in common is the transcendent entertainment of theater,” said Blumenthal President and CEO Tom Gabbard in a news release. “We are so excited for our audiences to experience the best and brightest of Broadway with these spectacular productions.”

The PNC Broadway Lights Series features eight new shows, including “9 to 5: The Musical” and “MJ: The Musical,” while the Equitable Bravo Series features the return of five audience favorites. The complete lineup is listed below.

Season subscriptions are on sale now. Broadway Lights Series packages range from $300-$984, and Bravo Series packages range from $192-$648, not including taxes and fees in either case.
