Fun happens at Charlotte Fair

Cruise on a coaster, grab a turkey leg, check out the petting zoo and enjoy performances from the Pirates of the Colombian Caribbean High Wire Thrill Show, Rattlesnake Dave and more at the Charlotte Fair from June 17-27.

Find all the fun at 6558 Bruton Smith Blvd. near Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Fair hours are from 4-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 4-11 p.m. Friday; 1-11 p.m. Saturday and 1-10 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets

Tickets cost $10 for adults and children ages 12 and older, and $5 for children ages 5-11, plus fees.

Children age 4 and younger are admitted free.

Admission includes shows and petting zoo. Midway rides cost extra.

A one-day unlimited ride wristband valid Monday through Thursday costs $20. One-day ride wristbands valid to use any day of the week cost $25.

Parking costs $5 (cash only).

Ways to save

Family four-packs can be purchased for $36 and allow admission for four people.

Bring a Charlotte Fair flyer/handbill -- available in dozens of retail locations throughout the area -- and receive $5 off an unlimited rides wristband.

On June 21, college students can show their student ID or wear college apparel and get admission for $5 and an unlimited ride wristband for $20.

On June 22, bring in two cans or a bag of pet food, a leash or pet toy to benefit a local animal shelter and get admission for $2 and an unlimited ride wristband for $20.

On June 23, children age 11 and younger get free admission.

On June 24, admission will be discounted to $5 for all ages and ride wristbands will cost $20.
