Charlotte restaurants serving up entertainment during COVID-19

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Although restaurants in North Carolina remain closed to dine-in customers to comply with the state’s COVID-19 guidelines, two in our area have cooked up something special to go along with takeout orders this weekend.

On Friday nights, Big View Diner turns into a drive-in movie theater and shows a movie in its parking lot.

Customers can watch from their cars or bring chairs.

Movies begin at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday nights, Ilios Noche in Rea Village has live entertainment and music outside from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
