Kanye West may be considering a name change.
West, who also goes by Yeezy, appeared at the Fast Company Innovation Festival Thursday.
During the event, West appeared with footwear designer Steven Smith to unveil the new Yeezy sneaker made from algae fiber, Engadget reported.
Smith had worked previously for brands like New Balance, Reebok, Nike and FILA, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
West is moving the Yeezy headquarters to Wyoming and will grow algae using hydroponics on a 4,000-acre ranch, according to Engadget.
West said "Yeezy is the Apple of apparel," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
He also said that he may change his name for a year to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
West also has his sights set on Washington, saying he will be running for president in 2024. The audience laughed at the notion, he challenged them saying, "What y'all laughing at? We would create so many jobs! I'm not going to run, I"m going to walk," The Hollywood Reporter reported.
Yeezy's recent album "Jesus Is King" has dominated the Billboard Christian songs charts, taking all top 10 spots on both the Hot Christian Songs and Hot Gospel Songs, Billboard reported Thursday.
