Most of the suspects have lengthy criminal records in Mecklenburg County. Police sources said the suspects planned on robbing Waka Flocka's tour bus.
Hoover, Sellers and Stukes had their bonds set at $200,000. They are scheduled to appear in court Monday.
Bellamy's bond was set at $225,000; Washington's bond was set at $175,000; and Lawrence's bond was set at $350,000. Court documents show they will make their first court appearance Tuesday.
Records show Washington was arrested 14 hours before the shootout, for misdemeanor traffic violations.
Investigators said the rap artist had been at the Car Stereo Warehouse getting a stereo installed in his tour bus when a shootout happened between the rapper's entourage and one other person.
"It does feel pretty good, knowing that they are off the streets and can't come back and do the same thing," said Warehouse employee Ronnie Cochran
Witnesses said they heard at least 10 shots. Cochran hid in the back of the store with several other people, including customers and other employees.
"We heard a couple bullets hit the front window, it kind of put a fear into all of us," he said.
Antonio Stukes was the only person shot in the gun battle. During an interview after he was released from the hospital, Stukes denied any involvement in the shooting.
"I'm no friend of Flocka, I'm a friend of Jesus," he said. "Everything was just real chill, and then [expletive] got crazy."
Attorney Adam Seifer said his client, Stukes, was only at the store to meet Waka Flocka and give him a demo tape.
Rapper Waka Flocka was scheduled to perform Saturday evening at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
