Argument over missing money leads to shooting in Shelby

SHELBY, N.C. — Shelby’s first shooting of the year happened when police say an argument over missing money turned violent.

The Shelby Star reports that person was shot around 4 p.m. Monday on Logan Street.

Police arrested Terry Miller. He’s charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

The shooting victim was not seriously hurt.
