BOONE, N.C. — Its been six years since James “Martin” Roberts disappeared from Boone, according to the Boone Police Department.
Roberts was reported missing on April 21, 2016, by his roommates. On Thursday, Boone police said they continue to investigated every tip and lead to find him.
“The Boone Police Department works continuously with family of Martin Roberts and the community, in an effort to bring Martin home,” said lead investigator Sergeant Candace Burlingame. “Our hearts are always with the family, but especially this time of year.”
Roberts, who may go by the name Martin, was 19 at the time of his disappearance. He would now be 25.
He is described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes, 5′ 10′' and 145 pounds. Roberts has a tattoo on his left forearm of three mountains and a tattoo on his chest.
He was last seen wearing a black short sleeve Appalachian State windbreaker, khaki shorts, gray New Balance sneakers and carrying a backpack.
