BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — Eyewitness News reporter Dave Faherty learned Drexel Road at Greentree Acres Road has been shut down as highway patrol respond to an ice-related crash.

Officials said a teenage driver lost control on black ice along Drexel Road around 7:45 a.m. Friday and took out a power pole.

The road is expected to be closed for hours, according to Burke County officials.
