CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte City Council will vote Monday to pave the way for a new performance center in Uptown Charlotte.

Channel 9 reported earlier this week that Tepper Sports and Entertainment is planning a 4,400-seat concert venue next to the Bank of America Stadium.

He’s not seeking tax dollars.

Charlotte leaders will amend their ground lease with Tepper for the project.
