City leaders warn residents of new email scam in Tega Cay

TEGA CAY, S.C. — Tega Cay city leaders want you to be aware of a new scam.

They say someone is emailing people claiming to be the development services director requesting fees for annexation and rezoning.

They city wants homeowners to know it’s fake.

They say if you ever get a suspicious email from city staff, call them to verify it.
