CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is searching for a woman accused of stabbing a man early Tuesday morning in northwest Charlotte.

The stabbing happened around 12:45 a.m. in front of a home on Cantwell Street near Hovis Road.
Officials said the victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
CMPD has not yet released the woman's description.
