CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department will break ground Friday on a new police station.
[Pair arrested in connection with armed robbery of Ballantyne bank]
CMPD and City Development Partners will hold a ceremony at 10 a.m. for the new South Division facility.
The police station will be on Providence Road West in Ballantyne and will employ about 100 people.
