CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools teacher is suspended with pay after he was arrested over accusations that he attacked a woman.
Jordan Woods is listed as an "Exceptional Children's Assistant" at Rocky River High School.

Police said Woods was charged with assault after a woman said he threw her to the ground in January, choked her, and pulled her hair.
Authorities said the woman was not seriously injured.
Woods' attorney told Channel 9 this was not related to CMS and that the charges are false.
CMS said Woods is suspended with pay.
