CHARLOTTE — Crews responded to a three-alarm fire at 1315 East Boulevard Friday afternoon between Kenilworth and Scott avenues in the Dilworth neighborhood.
The fire was accidental and started in the kitchen at the popular restaurant 131 Main, officials said. The damage from the blaze that spread through the duct work was estimated at $250,000, officials said.
It took crews about 40 minutes to control.

Charlotte Fire Department said about 90 CFD personnel members are on scene of the fire.
Two firefighters suffered had minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Residents in the building were evacuated and later returned.
