YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies say a 14-year-old who disappeared from a York County School early Wednesday morning has been found safe.
Before he was found, Dakota Carter had last been seen around 8:30 a.m. at Riverwalk Academy off Mount Gallant Road, near the Rock Hill and Newport area.

Carter is described as having blond hair with green eyes, weights around 130 pounds and is about five feet tall. The teen was was wearing a dark colored sweatshirt with yellow stripes and jeans.
