Earl Scruggs Center in Shelby to reopen after month-long interactive exhibit installation

Earl Scruggs Center has something for everyone

SHELBY, N.C. — The Earl Scruggs Center in Shelby will be closed for more than a month starting Thanksgiving day, our partners at The Shelby Star reported.

The center is installing new interactive exhibits designed to bring banjo master and bluegrass singer Scruggs’ legacy to life, which includes his music and stories from the region.

The closure will last through Jan. 31.
