FBI: Accused Pittsburgh shooter's social media paints picture of intentions

The man accused of entering a Pittsburgh synagogue Saturday morning and opening fire, leaving 11 dead and 6 others injured, is set to face a federal judge Monday morning.

Authorities say the accused shooter Robert Bowers had no criminal record and was not on their radar.

But, his anger was clear in what he posted on a social media website called "GAB."

Officials say it is popular among white nationalists.

The FBI says Bowers' social media paints a chilling picture that showed his intentions.

Authorities told Channel 9 the introduction to Bowers' page says "Jews are all the children of Satan."

The FBI goes on to say Bowers continued to post messages like this up until an hour before the deadly assault.

Bowers wrote many of those posts on the social media site "GAB."

This webpage is different from Facebook and Twitter because it does not censor radical views.

Law enforcement and neighbors agree Bowers had some reclusive behavior, which meant he flew under the radar.

"The most terrifying thing is how normal he seemed," neighbor Chris Hall said.

Within his posts, Bowers also mentions President Trump, calling him a globalist as opposed to a nationalist.

Bowers also wrote there is no way to make America great again as long as there is a Jewish infestation.
