HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. — A sanitation worker was killed Friday after being hit by a city garbage truck in Western North Carolina, our affiliate WLOS-TV reported.
Crews were called to the scene in Hendersonville at about 8:30 a.m.
The trash truck accidentally ran over the city worker, officials said.
No other information has been released.
