CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Several homes in Dilworth were evacuated Sunday evening after a gas line caught fire.
Officials told Channel 9 that lightning likely started the fire.
The area was shut down for hours while crews put out the flames.
Neighbors said they were thankful it wasn't worse.
