Hendrick Automotive opens BMW dealership in south Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — One of the Charlotte region’s most prominent players in car sales has added a location. Hendrick Automotive Group has opened a satellite location for pre-owned BMWs and other vehicles at 9029 South Blvd., providing a new sales and service option for motorists in south Charlotte.

Formerly a HendrickCars.com dealership site, the renovated, 25,000-square-foot facility is creating 50 new jobs, according to a news release.

It sits on a nearly 5.3-acre site, adjacent to Hendrick Honda. Customer amenities include free Wi-Fi service, refreshments and a coffee bar, and loaner vehicles and shuttles for those leaving their vehicles for service with one of the BMW-trained technicians.
