CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Hornets guard Brandon Miller is out for the season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn scapholunate ligament, the team announced on Thursday.
Miller suffered the injury during a game against the Utah Jazz on Jan. 17. He was averaging 21.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.1 steals this season in 27 games.
Miller was selected to the All-Rookie First Team last year.
The Hornets will start a three-game homestand, with the final game being televised on Channel 9.
