CHARLOTTE — Officials said there are more than 25,000 germs on your cellphone, but there is a way to disinfect your phone without harming it.
The best way to clean a phone is to use an alcohol wipe, because it’s not saturated with liquid like a disinfectant wipe.
Make sure the phone is off and not connected to a charger before cleaning the phone.
Use an alcohol wipe to wipe down the phone on the front, back and sides.
You can also wipe down the camera lens without harming it.
