KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — The birds of Kannapolis now have new places to call home.
The city’s youth council hung up 10 hand-painted birdhouses.
The council’s legacy projects are meant to give back and beautify Kannapolis.
Each birdhouse has a theme related to the city, like the Gem Theatre and the Cannon Ballers.
The houses are hung up along the Bakers Creek and Irish Buffalo Creek Greenways.
