KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. — A Cleveland County Councilman faces criminal charges for allegedly forging a certificate of insurance, The Shelby Star reported.
Kings Mountain City Council member George Neisler admitted to the crime during a council meeting last week and apologized.
Neisler says the forgery was a mistake and he’s working reverse the action.
Some neighbors are now calling for his resignation.
