Local catering company launches new concept in face of pandemic

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Best Impressions Caterers saw an opportunity when the pandemic caused its business to come to a screeching halt.

It recently debuted Table & Twine, a chef-driven, meal kit delivery service. The goal is to deliver restaurant-quality food that can be prepared and plated at home, said Justin King, president.

“There are a lot of people who operate in this space, but very few who do it locally,” he said. “I think it’s something we can build on.”

Best Impressions shifted its resources to building Table & Twine as events fell off. It was something that had been talked about previously, but never came to fruition.
