CHARLOTTE — Local developer Terwilliger Pappas has plans for a mixed-use tower in midtown Charlotte that could include office space, retail, multifamily units and a hotel.

The firm filed a rezoning petition yesterday for 2.2 acres at 1175 Pearl Park Way. The petition did not include site plans but has a provision allowing for the tower to be as high as 250 feet.

Terwilliger Pappas purchased the land, which is currently vacant in 2018 for $7.45 million, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records.
