DENVER, N.C. — A 33-year-old Maiden man was arrested Monday after law enforcement recovered approximately $30,000 worth of stolen boat equipment taken during a series of break-ins at a marine dealer in Denver, the sheriff in Lincoln County said in a news release.
Detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office identified Logan Durie Goodson as the suspect following multiple breaking and entering and larceny incidents at the business throughout September 2026.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for Goodson’s Catawba County residence and, with assistance from the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office, located the stolen boat accessories and equipment inside a garage.
Goodson was charged with three counts of larceny, possession of stolen goods and breaking and entering a vehicle or vessel. He was placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a no-bond hold because he was out on bond for a previous charge at the time of his arrest, the sheriff said.
