CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police said a 51-year-old man has repeatedly broken into and stolen liquor from the same popular restaurants in the Charlotte area, including the Dilworth Neighborhood Grille.

“You take the good with the bad,” said Matt Wohlfarth, who has owned the restaurant for 14 years.
Wohlfarth said Jimmy Lee Osborn has broken into the business eight times this year.
"Well, it's hard enough running a business,” Wohlfarth said. “You don't need the same guy coming back and doing the exact same crime over and over and over again."
Dilworth Neighborhood Grille is not the only business Osborn has hit, police said.
Surveillance footage showed Osborn taking liquor from Chima Brazilian Steakhouse in uptown five times in the last two months.
Osborn has also hit Ruth’s Chris Steak House, police said.
In every case, Osborn steals liquor.
Osborn has been arrested numerous times, but he never spends long in jail because he's only committing property crimes.
That frustrates Wohlfarth to no end.
"Yeah, it's tough,” Wohlfarth said. “He's not hurting anybody, but he is hurting people. He's hurting me."
