CHARLOTTE — All 27 members of Mecklenburg County’s new transit authority are now in place.
Gov. Josh Stein appointed Bishop Dwayne Walker to the board.
The Metropolitan Public Transit Authority held its first meeting Thursday night when the board unanimously selected former Charlotte City Councilman David Howard to be chair.
