MEDIC: 1 killed in east Charlotte shooting

CHARLOTTE — A person died following a shooting in east Charlotte Tuesday night.

It happened just after 7:30 p.m. on the 1900 block of Milton Road.

MEDIC said the victim died at the scene.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department announced that this shooting will be investigated as a homicide.

No additional details have been made available.
