New $237K CMS website scrapped after parents complained it wasn’t user-friendly

CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools spent $237,000 on a new website but after six months of it being online, the district scrapped it.

Parents and others said it was difficult to navigate through the new version, so the district went back to its previous version.
