North Carolina man charged with stabbing dog to death, officials say

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Authorities said they charged a North Carolina man with abusing a dog so badly it died.

Deputies said Jonathon Bulluck kidnapped the mastiff in the middle of the night from its Rocky Mount home.

He then stabbed it and buried the body in a shallow grave, according to authorities.

Bulluck claims the dog jumped on a 2-year-old, but investigators said the toddler wasn’t hurt.

Neighbors said they’re upset over the way the dog was killed.

“They need to do something about him because he ain’t right in the head. He’s crazy. A man to do something like that, he does that to a dog, what’s he gonna do to me?” said neighbor William Terry.

Bullock is facing felony animal cruelty charges.
