Pedestrian struck, killed by train in Salisbury

SALISBURY, N.C. — An Amtrak train struck and killed a pedestrian at about 6 p.m. Wednesday near Harrison Street in Salisbury, officials said.

The train was traveling from Charlotte to Raleigh.

No further information has been released.
