Police discover crack cocaine during traffic stop

MORGANTON, N.C. — Morganton police said they arrested two people after they found drugs in their car during a routine traffic stop.

Adrian Forney and Toriana Patterson were arrested Thursday.

Initially, police pulled them over for driving through two stop signs.

When the officers spoke with Patterson, they said they noticed a powdery substance smeared along the dashboard. Police said it was crack cocaine.

Channel 9’s partners at the Morganton News Herald report police also found prescription drugs and marijuana in the car.
