CHARLOTTE, N.C. — More than 1,000 Duke Energy customers were without power Friday morning in northwest Charlotte during freezing temperatures.
The company’s outage map shows the outage is in the area of I-85, Hoskins Road and Brookshire Boulevard.
Officials said a tractor-trailer pulled down some power lines on Montana Drive, which is a service road off of I-85.

Duke Energy crews restored power just after 6 a.m.
