ProPharma moves headquarters to North Carolina with plans to hire

RALEIGH — A life sciences company with thousands of employees globally has moved its headquarters to Raleigh.

Previously based in Kansas, ProPharma Group has set up its main office on West Hargett Street downtown. The company, which already has about 100 employees in the Raleigh area, expects to add another 75 to 100 people there over the next few years.

Founded about 20 years ago in the Kansas City area as a consulting firm, ProPharma has grown organically and through mergers and acquisitions to a global organization with about 2,600 employees, said president Jason DeGoes.
