GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A registered sex offender is facing several sex crime charges involving children ages 7 and 12, according to Gaston County police.
Travis Proctor, 36, was arrested Monday at his home on Propst Road in Dallas and charged with one felony count of first-degree sex offense, two felony counts of indecent liberties with a child and two felony counts of disseminating obscene material to a minor under 13.

Investigators said they found electronic devices inside his home that will be searched for additional evidence.
According to officers, the investigation was started by the Cleveland County Department of Social Services and then picked up by Gaston County police.
Proctor is a registered sex offender because of prior indecent liberties with a minor convictions.
