The man driving the boat that killed a 17-year-old girl on Lake Norman had a blood-alcohol content of 0.14, according to a report.
The report was filed by the North Carolina Wildlife Commission, our news partners at the Independent Tribune reported.
Sheyenne Marshall was killed on the Fourth of July when a boat driven by Keith Cerven hit her, investigators said.
Marshall was hit by the boat motor's propeller after she went under the water, according to the report.
Cerven was charged with boating while impaired, involuntary manslaughter and reckless boating.
