Sink your teeth into Charlotte's best burgers, per Yelp

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — From roadside dives that are a bit off the beaten path to funky fusions found at restaurants in more upscale neighborhoods, Charlotte has plenty of variety when it comes to tasty burgers.

Continuing a series of rankings that began last month with rundowns of the city’s best places for a business lunch or for happy hour, beer enthusiasts’ favorite breweries and where to find delicious international cuisine, review website Yelp has also provided a list to help you find the best burgers in town — there’s even a vegetarian option.

To compile the list, Yelp Inc. identified businesses with a large concentration of reviews mentioning “burger,” then ranked those spots according to factors such as the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning “burger.” This ranking differs from what an individual’s search results might show because those searches turn up entries that are tailored to that particular user, taking into consideration their location and the time of day.
