Study: Life expectancy in African Americans decreased due to pandemic

CHARLOTTE — Life expectancy among African Americans is going down because of the pandemic.

“As a person who lost 39 family members since March of 2020 due to COVID-19, trust me, I understand better than most the severity of this disease,” said Corine Mack, civil rights leader.
